BIIAB Award for Personal Licence Holders
Course Information:
Under the Licencing Act 2003, anyone authorizing the retail sale of alcohol must hold a Personal Licence. The Award for Personal Licence Holders (also known as the personal licence training and APLH course) qualification enables successful delegates to apply for a Personal Licence. This course meticulously details social responsibilities and legal obligations of holding a Personal Licence and offers delegates detailed understanding of the current licencing laws and objectives.
Course Duration:
The Course usually starts at 10.30am and finishes at 16.00pm including the examination.
Cost:
There are 2 options on pricing;
The ‘APLH Course’ Costs From £135 + vat
Personal Licence Application Costs £60 + vat + Dispursements
We will apply for the licence on your behalf after the course, we include all fee’s (Basic Criminal Disclosure and the application fee for the licence itself). This usually takes between 3-4 weeks depending on your local licensing authority.

Assessment:
At the end of the days’ training there will be a 40 minute multiple choice examination. The pass mark required is 28/40. You will usually receive results within 24 hours of the examination (Please ask about our same day results service).
